The Metropolitan Police Motor Club Ltd is again hosting Driving Force 2010 to support Project Mobility and Help the Heroes charity.
4-Wheel Driving Force 2010, is by kind permission of Assistant Chief Constable, Robert Chidley, will be held at the MoD Police HQ in Wethersfield. The Event is organised by the Federation of British Police Motor Clubs, with help from Walker Associates and Essex Landover Club. The Event this year will be a charitable event in support of Help the Heroes and Project Mobility.
4-Wheel Driving Force 2010 is a driving, navigation and vehicle maintenance and recovery event. It will be held at various East Anglian Off Road venues over two days. The event will be conducted by the Federation of British Police Motor Clubs (FBPMC) in association with the British Armed Forces Motoring Association (BAFMA) SOPS. The event will run from 16th-18th April 2010. The event start and finish will be at Ministry Of Defence Police HQ, Wethersfield, Braintree, Essex, CM7 4AZ. The event is open to full members of FBPMC, members of MPMC, members of UK Armed Forces (MOD) BAFMA, members of Essex Landrover Club & members of MSA affiliated Land Rover Clubs. The event will start at MDP HQ at 09.00 on Sat 17th April 10 and will finish at MDP HQ at 15.00hrs on Sunday 18th April 10. The maximum number of entries will be eighty. Scrutineering will open at 1200hrs and close at 22.00hrs on Friday 16th April. The event will cover various terrains with an approximate total mileage of 200 miles. The organisers will supply all the required information to complete the event.
All competing vehicles 4x4s as per manufacturer’s specification. Vehicles should ideally be no bigger than a 101 Forward Control Landrover or Pinzgauer 716m.
