A murder suspect who absconded overseas 15 years ago has been re-captured after Metropolitan Police (Met) traced him to Spain.


Miguel Da Silva, 40, a Portuguese national is accused of murdering his girlfriend Susan Martin at a flat in Notting Hill, west London.


She was found strangled to death when police found her at the property on 25 September 1994.


Mr Da Silva was arrested by officers following his extradition last week.


He was found by murder squad detectives following a review of the case.


Mr Da Silva will appear at the Old Bailey in June. He has been remanded in custody.
