The Investigating is collaborating with Cifas - the leading experts in fraud prevention to host an interactive that will look at best practice, challenges and opportunities around the investigation of fraud offences.
Cifas is a not-for-profit organisation that is at the forefront of cutting edge work around fraud prevention.
Our workshop will be led by Nick Downing, Chief Intelligence Officer at Cifas and Amber Burridge, Head of Intelligence. Between them, Nick and Amber have an impressive track-record working in fraud investigations at local and national level for police forces and other public sector organisations including local councils.
Before joining Cifas, Nick was Assistant Chief Constable Head of the Serious Crime Directorate for Kent and Essex Police in the UK as well as notching up an impressive 28-year career with the Met Police including time spent as a Detective Supt and Head of Proceeds of Crime for London. Amber has worked at the highest level at Hammersmith and Fulham Councils in London and Surrey Police as an intelligence analyst and researcher.
