The Investigator is hosting exclusive new workshop that provides investigators, analysts and staff from police, wider law enforcement and other public sector bodies with key skills and best practice required to successfully apply for a new role within their organisation and realise their full potential.
Our workshop will be run by police careers and interview specialists at Careers in Blue who have worked as frontline police officers with 60 years’ experience. They also have more than 20 years’ experience of interviewing, assessing and marking officers within the police service and so are well-versed in identifying the key skills and competencies that assessors are looking for from their candidates.
Inform and empower
Our workshop aims to inform and empower you to successfully apply for a new role within your organisation and to realise your full potential.
You could be applying for a position within your existing team or another team or squad within your organisation. You might be looking for a secondment or an attachment to another team and be unsure about how to apply for your new role.
Inspire and build confidence
Many talented investigators, analysts and police staff avoid taking the challenging step of seeking out a new role in their organisation due to a lack of confidence, not being aware about the recruitment process within their organisation and also not having had recent experience of the job application process.
As a result, many talented staff either stagnate in their existing roles or consider leaving their organisation as they are unaware of the opportunities that might exist for them in other roles within their existing organisation.
Benefit to organisations
Our workshop also benefits organisations as well as individuals as it could help with retention and avoid talented staff leaving the organisation due to lack of skills and awareness about how to identify and apply for internal opportunities.
