Latest in our Analysis in Action series that provides operational best practice for crime and intelligence analysts.
This workshop is aimed at analysts who want to enhance their analyses to provide better and more complete answers to operational and strategic questions.
The workshop will cover how data can be enhanced by drawing in other sources of information, and by coding features to enhance their ability to answer the question at hand. This will also include tools such as the Cambridge Crime Harm Index.
The workshop will focus around the following themes:

It will be led by Tori Olphin, MBE who is a consultant director of research and data science who has conducted data research and provided insights to multiple police agencies, and whose work has included development of predictive risk assessment and resourcing tools, as well as improving research in the public sector. She is a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, and was awarded an MBE for her work in algorithmic transparency and domestic abuse risk assessment.
