This ‘must attend’ workshop examines contemporary issues, challenges and best practice around the Digital Disclosure regime.

 

The day will be operationally focussed and is aimed at investigators who want to enhance and develop their understanding of their roles of responsibilities in relation to the disclosure of digital material.

 

It will include:

An exploration of the general disclosure concepts, the pitfalls and how this is shaping the digital disclosure process.

• Attorney General guidelines

• Defence Engagement

• Legal Professional Privilege (LPP) and Special procedure material

 

The Investigation Management Document (IMD) and Disclosure Management Document (DMD)

• What is included in an IMD

• Who completes the IMD, when and how

• What happens with the information provided to the CPS

 

Our expert

The day will be led by CPS Prosecutor Zoe Becker who has worked on numerous complex prosecutions and is well-versed in current challenges and best practice around Digital Disclosure in the operational environment.
